Do you keep a journal? With the new year fast approaching, would you like to start journalling? Would you like to enhance your journal with art? Karen Sprague will be hosting an Art Journalling Class on Wednesday, December 18 at the Windsor Art Center Studios from 6 to 8 PM. This class is designed to make a new art journal or enhance an existing journal using words and art to express highlights of your day and life: laughter, adventure and wise thoughts. You will learn to use sketching patterns, typefaces, cut-and-paste, acrylic painting, magazine clippings and photos as part of the journaling process. Karen Sprague is an artist who is a life-long journalist. Recently she has combined both art and journalling, resulting in journals with succinct meaningful phrases combined with art. The class fee is $55, which includes a $25 materials fee. Bring your journal, photos, newpaper and magazine clippings - anything that is meaningful to you.
