Explore the possibilities on Saturday, June 26, at the Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Avenue, Windsor, CT. Well known master at gardening, Gordon Kenneson will speak on the topic of Plants, Healing Plants, and Planting. The Windsor Conservation Commission is sponsoring the event which will run from 11am-12:00 followed by a Q&A. Depending on weather conditions, the presentation will be held outdoors in the Windsor Historical Society garden area. Attendees are encouraged to wear masks and use their discretion as to distancing. Whether you have a Green Thumb or not, you should find it fun to be with kindred spirits. There is always something to learn. The green thumb term is said to have originated from the act of pinching back plants which sometimes left green chlorophyll on the forefinger and thumb. See you've already learned something! Sponsored by the Windsor Conservation Commission Members: Ann Beaudin-Chair, Nigel Pepin-Co-Chair, Colette Yeich-Secretary, Lea Chayes, Ayes Adams, Julie Henry, Tammy Young, Bradford Robinson, Sherwin LeGendre, Town Liaison-Chloe Thompson, https://townofwindsorct.com/conservation-commission |
