Valentine’s For Veterans Project - Youth and their families are invited create Valentine’s Day cards for veterans at 330 Windsor Avenue Community Center on Monday, February 5, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm. This is a great way to remember our veterans! Cards will be distributed to local veterans’ organizations for Valentine’s Day. Our goal is to collect over 100 cards! This activity can be a teachable moment for youth to learn who veterans are and why they are so important to our community. If you are a veteran who would like to receive a card please call the Youth Services Office. Please contact the Youth Services Coordinator at 860-285-1946 for more information.
