“Tree, Plant & Wild Edibles Hike” Come out to Northwest Park on Sunday, September 23rd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a “Tree, Plant, and Wild Edibles Hike”. Join naturalist Aimee Gelinas M.Ed, Director and co-founder of the Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center on an early fall hike through Northwest Park. Learn about trees as they change color, plants, wild edibles, as well as ecology and tips on identification too! Sponsored by the Friends of Northwest Park (FONWP). Program fee is $15.00 for non-members, which will include a 2018 membership to the FONWP. Current members please call 860-285-1886 for free registration. Registration required.
