The Town of Windsor Human Relations Commissioners will be presenting their Peace and Earth Day Festival this year from, April 20-23,2017. Each day will provide a different event for the community to come out and be apart of and participate Thursday, April 20, 2017 @ The Windsor Library will feature our young poets of Clover Street School and Windsor High School and storytelling, if you would like to participate please contact the number of above. limited space is available. Friday, April 21, 2017 @ Windsor High School will be the First Windsor Idol Contest just like the American Idol Show with local town celebrities as judges. Come get your golden ticket to the main event. Auditions are April 7 and 14, Town Hall, Town Council Chambers. Saturday, April 22, 2017 Windsor Town Green, Community Day and Earth Day in Windsor We celebrate Earth Day in Windsor with Tree planting, Windsor Police will be participating in Community Activity, Windsor Fire Department, Eversource, Food, and much much more . Vendors still being accepted. Sunday, April 23, 2017 Peace Dinner with Special guest Speakers a varied dinner with Muslim and American specialties to accompany joint sponsored by the First church of Windsor 107 Palisado Avenue 3:30 to 6PM Nelson Hall.
