Learn how to prepare scrumptious colonial desserts in the Strong-Howard House’s kitchen open hearth taught by foodways expert Becky Hendricks! Choose between portugal cakes, almond macaroons, jumbles, apple Charlotte, everlasting syllabub, queen’s cake, comfits of orange rind, gingerbread cakes, wafers with red currant crème and brandied nuts. These popular hearth cooking courses always fill up quickly!

Ages 12 and up. Max two participants per family. Registration ends Friday, December 3rd!
$40 per person plus estimated $10-15 food costs. Indoors.

Special COVID Requirements: In order to provide as safe an environment as possible, participants will be required to verify COVID-19 vaccination when registering and wear a face mask throughout the program.
