Good drivers make good friends. Join the Volunteer driver team at Nutmeg Senior Rides and help a friend you haven’t met yet with a ride to the doctor, work, the store, a friend’s house or to church.

Nutmeg Senior Rides is a private not-for-profit 501 c3 and they need drivers in North Central Connecticut to drive people over 50 who can no longer drive get where they need to be. Drivers can choose the rides they do online to fit their schedule.

Information luncheon sessions are being held on:

1. November 8 from Noon to 1:30 pm hosted by Fresh River Healthcare, 96 Prospect Hill Road, East Windsor
2. November 15 from Noon to 1:30 at Jim’s Family Restaurant and Pizzeria, 124 Poquonock Avenue ,Windsor. This session is hosted by Edward Jones
