Windsor’s Northwest Park Presents “Historic Uses of Native Plants”. Join us Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM for an in-depth workshop on “Historic Uses of Native Plants”. Gordon Kenneson, Horticulturist, and Beth Caruso, Author and Herbalist, will share their expert knowledge in the field as you walk our trails and become familiar with the wild plants growing at Northwest Park. Learn how early colonists supplemented native plants with old world species, changing the New England landscape to the present day. The fee for this program is $10.00 (Windsor resident); $15.00 (non-resident) Recommended for age 12 and up. Registration is required.
