The Oliver Ellsworth Homestead, built in 1781, will be open for free tours and entertainment as part of the 14th Annual Connecticut Open House Day. Stop by and visit the beautifully restored house of one of the Founding Fathers and drafters of the U.S. Constitution. At 1:00 President James Madison, as portrayed by acclaimed actor Bil Lewis, will be chatting about his friend Oliver Ellsworth, and shedding light on the early history of our country. Also plan to visit the Windsor Historical Society and the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut, both open free to the public on June 9 as part of Connecticut Open House day.
