Please join us for a great cause and a great day at Tunxis Golf Plantation in Farmington on Thursday, Sept. 24 for the 23rd Annual CRIS Radio Golf Classic with shotgun start at 11 a.m. For the sixth consecutive year, the event's title sponsor, New Country Motor Cars of Hartford, invites members of the public to support CRIS Radio, based in Windsor, a nonprofit radio station that provides audio versions of newspapers, magazines, and classroom materials for children and adults who are unable to read due to blindness or other reading challenges. The tournament fee of $160 includes green fees, a golf cart, lunch on the green, steak dinner, and complimentary beverages.
