September evenings are beautiful in Windsor, prompting Windsor Historical Society and Windsor Public Schools to team up at the start of the school year. On Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 6 p.m. (rain date 9-21), we invite you to bring a picnic and your favorite book and hang out with other book lovers on Windsor Historical Society’s lawn. Windsor Public Schools is giving participants history and social studies-themed books appropriate for grades K-12 (first come, first served) and Windsor Historical Society’s exhibits and Hands-On-History Learning Center will be open. In the Learning Center is a special exhibit about Combustion Engineering in Windsor. All ages are welcome! |
