Combustion Engineering began construction of one of the ?rst corporate campuses in Windsor’s new business district in 1955 and employed thousands of workers in their nuclear and fossil fuel divisions over the next forty-?ve years. Though Combustion Engineering has closed its doors, the company’s lasting impact on the landscape, economy, and residents of the town ensures that it will always be a Windsor landmark.
