Family Winter Hike 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Start your Saturday morning off right with a lively winter hike. Families are encouraged to bundle up and join Park Educators to explore our beautiful landscape, learn to identify some of our favorite trees, and ponder what the animals are up to! Winter Games: Ice Exploration 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Get outside with your kids for a fun-filled afternoon of icy games. Dress for the weather and don your gloves for an active, goofy, hands-on, melty ice experience to learn about the unique properties of frozen water! Animal Evidence: Tracking & More! 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM From tracking to owl pellets, let’s investigate what evidence animals leave behind! Plenty of animals are awake and active in the winter and leave clues for us to examine. Discover whether any animals truly hibernate, what others might be up to, and dissect a real piece of owl pellet as we unravel the mysteries of wildlife in winter.
