Sunday, November 14, 2:00 – 4:00pm Meet the artist Janet Miller and browse her oils on canvas show. Registration not required. Live Demonstrations: Watch Janet create art in real time, ask questions as it develops, revel in the process. Wednesday, November 3, 11:00am – 2:00pm Thursday, November 18, 3:00pm – 6:00pm Saturday, November 27, 11:00am – 2:00pm All Month Long Visit Janet’s collection in our Meeting Room Artspace. Select items may be for sale. Artist Biography: I have been a professional artist for over thirty years and have worked in a variety of mediums and genres, My favorite medium, however, is oils and my favorite genre is Still Life. I enjoy working on a small scale through which I portray the beauty and sometimes whimsy of every day objects around us. As of late, being inspired by places I have visited, I have ventured a little into landscapes and seascapes. I have also been experimenting with the abstract qualities of alcohol ink. My art, for me, is a way of focusing on the beauty that is present in this world around us. Over the years, I have won many awards for my work, and have been a member of several art groups. At present, I am a member of the Windsor Palette and Brush Club, The Women’s Artist Collective, and The Tobacco Valley Artists Association.    | |||||||
