A benefit concert for one of our own Windsor CT - Saturday, November 3rd from 7:00 pm-11:00 pm a fundraising concert will be held at 102 Skitchewaug St. Windsor, CT. All proceeds will be donated directly to The Vincent “Vinnie” Manganello Family to help defray the enormous costs associated with his recent 40-day hospital stay. It is difficult to imagine the depth of despair and pain that drives one to attempt to take their own life. In the case of Vinnie Manganello, PTSD seems to have been the anchor weighing him down. Luckily, a crack team of EMTs, ER Doctors along with the extraordinary support of family and friends he survived his suicide attempt. Home now with his fiancé Sarah and new-born baby daughter Sophia, Vinnie is on the road to recovery. Life is sometimes messy and we don’t typically like talking about suicide, but Mr. Manganello feels his story can help serve as a lesson to others that may be on the edge and will be speaking about his ordeal at the event.
