Artist: student Grace Hanover A love of nature and identifying creation outdoors has led Grace at an early age to pause, identify, and document her findings. Sowing zinnia seeds, marveling at passing swallowtails, and observing the rhythms of a growing plant are where she loves and learns best. This year she has focused on capturing flowers in detailed watercolors. Artist Reception to be held at the library Tuesday, June 13th from 6:30-7:30 PM. Come celebrate her creations and support her endeavors to provide a charitable gift for her Compassion International sponsored child, Ulda, from Burkina Faso. All watercolors are available, framed, and ready for purchase. Specimens include: Purple bearded irises, tulips, poppies, and sunflowers.
This art show is available for viewing the entire month of June at the main library. |
