Community Garden at Northwest Park
Community Garden Plots at Windsor’s Northwest Park

Registration begins on Monday, April 1st to rent a plot in the Community Garden at Northwest Park. Raise your own produce in a 36 square-foot plot that’s been harrowed and staked out at the start of the growing season. There’s a nearby water source, however, gardeners need to bring their own hose and tools. The cost is $50.00 (Windsor resident), $60.00 (non-resident). To register for the season, you must come to the Nature Center to choose your plot. Northwest Park is located at 145 Lang Road, Windsor, CT.

Pelton, the Windsor Art Center presents “What is Art?” taught by artist Katherine Tolve: Saturday, March 30, 1:30-3:00pm. What do YOU see when looking at a piece of art? Using the current show as backdrop for discussion, participants will develop skills in how to perceive and talk about art, and will create their own masterpiece. All ages welcome! FREE.
