The Northwest Park Concert Series continues its winter schedule withThe Hot Club of New England on Saturday March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor.

The Hot Club of New England is a musical collective featuring the top swing, gypsy, and hot jazz musicians from the New England area. Founded by vocalist Atla DeChamplain, violinist Jason Anick (leader of the internationally renowned gypsy jazz group The Rhythm Future Quartet), guitarist Max O'Rourke, and bassist Greg Loughman, HCNE is on a mission to bring the elegant and classic style

10th Anniversary Benefit Concert
Join The Music School at Sound Crossing as we celebrate 10 years of music in our community. The concert will feature the MSSC Suzuki Program and student soloists performing the works of Mozart, Schumann, Handel, Bach, Vivaldi and more. A Promise Youth Choir will perform music from The Greatest Showman. Faculty performances will feature the works of Hungarian composers, Bartók, Dohnányi and Kodály. Exciting auction items and tasty refreshments. Tickets $15, children 10 and under are free. All proceeds support MSSC's commitment to expanding access to music education.

We will take questions on devices and gadgets of all sizes and functions. No appointment necessary, the Geeks will be available on the Mezzanine from 7 PM to 8:30 PM weekly, and their advice is free. 860-285-1918.

The Windsor Art Center hosts the Connecticut Guitar Society’s winter 2019 concert series. The Connecticut Guitar Society is a non-profit presenting arts organization. It is the largest organization of its kind serving the general public and classical guitarists by providing a forum for listening, learning, performing and teaching. From Bach to Blues, Flamenco to Folk, the Society provides guitar enthusiasts with unique opportunities to hear and play the guitar in intimate settings throughout Connecticut.
