Local Artist Art Exhibit
Kathleen Tracy, Artist, will be showing eight of her watercolor works of art in West Hartford at West Side Wines, 10 Raymond Road. The show will be up through Labor Day. She is showing her work with fellow artist Peter Upton who uses acrylics. Art works can be viewed during regular business hours Mon-Fri 10 AM to 8 PM, Sat 9 AM to 8 PM and Sunday Noon to 5 PM. The Windsor Art Center announces the opening on September 1, 2018, of Local Color: Inspired by Science, an exhibition of art quilts created by Connecticut members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA). An international organization, SAQA supports professional and avocational fiber artists and teachers. The First Town Downtown 2018 Farmers’ Market will begin its 10th season on Thursday, June 28 from 3:30 to 6:30 at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. The Farmers' Market will run every Thursday through October 18th. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.
