It's Time to Play the Windsor Feud!

It's Time to Play the Windsor Feud!
The Windsor Feud is a live game show fundraiser held by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce in support of its community, education and business programs, all to support Windsor. Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Chamber is recruiting teams to play in this year's Feud. Businesses and civic groups form teams of four, dress in costume, raise money before and during the event and compete against each other for one of four trophies.

Good sports from ten teams answer funny, challenging questions while wearing imaginative costumes. It's a great way to support your community and have a great time! Pledge money to the teams ahead of time at their place of business or online at WindsorCC.org, or call in during the show to help your favorite team win.

Join us at the Windsor Public Library for our Weekend Workshop: Custom Wood Signs from 10:30AM to 1:00PM. We’ll be using basic skills to make wood signs in two designs: one based on the idea of “home” and one based on your own family tree. You’ll be prompted to choose which design you want to make. Friday Night Lights
Friday Night Lights is social group designed especially for those 18 and older, with developmental/cognitive disabilities. Due to the nature of this program participants must be independent in feeding and toileting. Participants will be involved in various recreational activities, enjoy video games, air hockey, table tennis, TV, pool table, food and so much more once a month to help promote socialization and vocational skills. The program will meet the first Friday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Teen Zone, located at the Community Center at 330 Windsor Avenue. Register online

Bluegrass comes to Northwest Park. The Northwest Park Concert Series offers a night of traditional bluegrass music with Stacy Phillips and His Bluegrass Characters on March 3ed at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor, Ct.

Stacy Phillips and His Bluegrass Characters are Connecticut’s premier purveyors of American roots music. They play bluegrass the deep, traditional way, sicking close to the True Vine and adding tunes from the fountain of old time music.

Stacy Phillips is a Grammy-winning dobro and violin player who will lead this all-star group of acoustic musicians.
