Voices Against Lyme Disease a 501(c)3, based in Windsor, CT is continuing their Support Group for those with a tickborne illness or a family member and friends. This group meets on the first and third Saturday of every month and is free to anyone wishing to join us. We use strict COVID 19 guidelines for our meetings. In addition, to support discussions we also provide up to date research information on tick borne illnesses, awareness and prevention.

Have an art project you need materials and/or advice for? Stop into the studio classroom during open hours to use the space and materials for your personal project, and receive guidance from local artist Michelle Hawran (if you wish!)

You MUST sign up at least a day in advance to ensure no more than 4 students will be in the classroom at one time. Each student will have their own table and sanitized materials, and masks are required. If you are feeling sick, please to do not attend.

Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Race
After a two year layoff due to COVID restrictions the Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Race is back. The Kiwanis Club of Windsor is the proud sponsor of one of the longest continuously running road races in the state of Connecticut, attracting runners from Connecticut and surrounding states. The event, now called the Annual Kiwanis Shad Derby Road Race, will be the 50th in the series. The 5K road race is also accompanied by a 1.5 mile fun walk.
Race starts at 10:00.

The Connecticut Cat Connection will be kicking off it’s second annual clothing donation drive this Saturday, April 23rd, and will run every week through June 18th. C.C.C. works in partnership with Saver’s Thrift stores’ FUNDrive Program,which recompenses the Cat Connection monetarily, for all

Monday, may 23 - Please join us for Adherence to High Blood Pressure Therapy with Atique Mirza MD on Zoom.

The Windsor Health Department is hosting a series of 6 Hypertension Workshops or High Blood Pressure Workshops. These workshops are scheduled over the summer and will be offered via Zoom. The dates and topics are listed below. In addition, each time you return the workshop evaluation and the Pre-Diabetes Risk Test, you will receive a $5 First Town Downtown Gift Card with a maximum of $30 awarded.
