Windsor Garden Club Garden Mart
Whether you have lots or little knowledge about gardening, the Garden Mart is the place to find both common and specialty plants for yourself or to share. Grown in Windsor Garden Club members gardens or from seed, there is a wide variety of perennials, herbs, vegetable starters, and sometimes bushes or saplings to choose from.

Net proceeds support the Club's meeting speakers (education!), civic endeavors (Windsor Historical Society historical garden bed and entry planters; holiday wreaths, and more), as well as scholarship.

This event will be held rain or shine. Sales are cash only.

Does your dog have what it takes to be Windsor's #1 dog or #1 puppy? All Windsor dog owners are welcome to participate in Windsor's annual Win Wag Contest. Photos will be posted to the town's Facebook page where visitors to the page will have the opportunity to vote and choose Windsor's #1 dog and #1 puppy.

Entries begin May 4th at 8:00 AM
Entries close May 17th at Noon
Voting begins May 19th at 8:00 AM
Voting ends June 1st at Noon
Winners to be announced June 2nd by 9:00 AM

Fundraiser for Ukraine
With the devastation created by the war in Ukraine we are feeling pretty helpless as we see the images that show that devastation. One of our own staff at Family Partnerships of CT grew up in Ukraine and has family still living there.
Larysa has worked at Family Partnership of CT for the last 15 years, we know this war has taken a toll on her as well as her family who are still there. She has been able to contact her family and send money and items throughout the last month. Larysa's mom continue to stay in her home in western Ukraine trying to stay safe.

The Windsor Health Department is hosting a series of 6 Hypertension Workshops or High Blood Pressure Workshops. These workshops are scheduled over the summer and will be offered via Zoom. The dates and topics are listed below. In addition, each time you return the workshop evaluation and the Pre-Diabetes Risk Test, you will receive a $5 First Town Downtown Gift Card with a maximum of $30 awarded. You may also watch the archived workshops to earn rewards.

Windsor Lions Club members will sell hotdogs and a drink provided by our Community Partner, Geisslers Supermarket 318 Broad St., Windsor, on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00-2:00. This event, occurring in conjunction with the Windsor Lions Art and Craft Fair on the Windsor Town Green is a great opportunity to grab some lunch, meet some great Lions and shop Geisslers Sidewalk Sale! 100% of the proceeds from this fun event are given back to our community through charitable giving.

Second Annual Clothing Drive
The Connecticut Cat Connection will be kicking off it’s second annual clothing donation drive this Saturday, April 23rd, and will run every week through June 18th. C.C.C. works in partnership with Saver’s Thrift stores’ FUNDrive Program,which recompenses the Cat Connection monetarily, for all

Kids and Teens ages 8-15 learn TV and Film production skills in a fun, week-long workshop. At the end of the week, families are invited in to a special screening to watch the program the kids have created.

Kimberly Hall North hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group for anyone taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia or if you would like to learn more about the disease. The group is open to both members of the community or those who have loved ones at Kimberly Hall.

Kate Bartelmo, is the support group leader she is a MSW, Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been running a support group for over 10 years. The group is affiliated with The Alzheimer's Association.
