Nightmare on Broad Street
First Town Downtown and presenting sponsor Windsor Federal Savings are getting ready for “Nightmare on Broad Street”. There will be pictures for kids and families of themselves with a Halloween ghoul, a Halloween movie showing on a huge movie screen, hay rides and trick or treating for the youngsters! The evening’s festivities will take place from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. (Broad Street will be closed.)

The Grant Review Committee generally looks for a variety of proposals from all grade levels and schools that:
- Are consistent with the Windsor Board of Education district and school goals
- Impact students with varying learning abilities
- Fall outside the regular operating budget
- Will ultimately impact/benefit a large number of individuals; in other words, the impact of the grant is not a

Newgate Farms Offering Winter Share CSA
Newgate Farms is offering their Winter Share CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program now. The program will run from November 6 thru December 21. Pickups will be scheduled every other week, including the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The program is flexible, allowing anywhere from one to four pickups. Please see our website for more specific information and pricing. Be sure to consider saving $20 by selecting all four shares! Chamber members receive an additional jar of salsa. Just write "chamber" at the top of your application.

Our November discussion will be on Round House by Louise Erdrich. Discussions are normally held on Zoom on the second Thursday of every month from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. This month due to library scheduling will be the first Thursday of the month. Books are available at the Lending Desk, one month prior to each meeting.
