The Big Mo' Jazz Brunch
The Big Mo' is Riverfront Recapture's primary fundraising event. Proceeds benefit our four parks along the banks of the Connecticut River in Hartford and East Hartford. Find out more about the event!

The Joe Marfuggi Riverwalk, a 2.5 mile extension from our Boathouse in Riverside Park, will connect our current parks to Windsor Meadows State Park in 2022. While many Windsor residents already visit Riverfront's parks, this new point of access is an exciting development.

The next Heritage Brick Installation will be on October 16, 2021 at 10:00 am at the brick patio on Central Street in Windsor center.

Heritage Bricks make beloved and appreciated gifts. First Town Downtown offers engraved bricks as a unique way to memorialize loved ones, commemorate special events, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, recognize civic groups, youth athletic teams, businesses, and volunteers. Honor someone special, all on a brick to be installed in the Town Green patio at Central Street.

Have you suffered the loss of a loved one during the pandemic? Experiencing the death of a loved one during a pandemic presents its own unique circumstances and challenges. This workshop will be an opportunity to make connections with peers, find support and learn about resources available in your community. This is also intended to gauge interest and participation in future support groups. There is no cost to attend however an RSVP is required by October 18th. Kimberly Hall North hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group for anyone taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia or if you would like to learn more about the disease. The group is open to both members of the community or those who have loved ones at Kimberly Hall.

Kate Bartelmo, is the support group leader she is a MSW, Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been running a support group for over 10 years. The group is affiliated with The Alzheimer's Association.
