Kimberly Hall North hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group for anyone taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or a related dementia or if you would like to learn more about the disease. The group is open to both members of the community or those who have loved ones at Kimberly Hall.

Kate Bartelmo, is the support group leader she is a MSW, Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been running a support group for over 10 years. The group is affiliated with The Alzheimer's Association.

Grace Episcopal Church at 311 Broad Street (on the Green) in Windsor, will be having their semi-annual Rummage and Bake Sale on Saturday October 9th from 9 am to 1 pm. Please join us in the church hall and shop for items that are famous for being in good condition at extremely reasonable prices. There is also a Boutique Room which has finer pieces including jewelry. There is also a Bake Sale by the Women of the Parish.

Kiwanis Canoe Race-Food Drive
Join the Kiwanis in their annual food drive to benefit Windsor Food and Fuel. All non perishable foods, toiletries, baby supplies (diapers, formula) are gratefully accepted. Cash donations are welcomed too as they will assist with fuel bills for those in need over the winter.

Please consider participating by either decorating a canoe for your school or organization or just have your group gather donations and bring them down to the Green between 10-2pm. Trophies will be given for most donations, best decorated canoe and monetary donations.

Youth in grades 3 thru 8 and their parents/guardians are invited to enjoy a relaxing and fun Paint Night at the Millbrook Clubhouse from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021. This workshop can help youth and families soothe school and home stressors. Instruction, canvas, paint supplies, and dinner are provided. $15.00 per person, space is limited. Voices Against Lyme Disease a 501(c)3, based in Windsor, CT is continuing their Support Group for those with a tickborne illness or a family member and friends. This group meets on the first and third Saturday of every month and is free to anyone wishing to join us. We use strict COVID 19 guidelines for our meetings. In addition, to support discussions we also provide up to date research information on tick borne illnesses, awareness and prevention.
