In a special event with 50% of the sales going to the Windsor Historical Society, we will be moving our books into two rooms of the Loomis house directly across the road from the society building.

Our “Second Hand in the First Town” Tag Sale promises to be a fun and safe way to raise badly needed funds to support Society programs. But it won’t happen without you!

Thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers and staff, this fall we will be practicing social distancing while offering a weekend event full of bargains and fun to support Windsor Historical Society. Our partners at House of Books and Games will be selling used history books and other items to benefit the Historical Society, the Music School at Sound Crossing will be providing musical performances and the Windsor Discovery Cent

Artist-in-Residence Exhibitions
Artist-in-Residence Adam Lenz Exhibit: A Way of Providing Ventilation. Show runs Saturday October 31st through Thursday, November 12. The exhibition is a collaboration between multimedia artist Adam Lenz and bassist/improvisor Zach Rowden. The exhibition will feature charcoal drawings inspired by the architecture and materials of our local tobacco barns and multichannel audio installation.

Due to our big tag sale fundraiser this week, we've moved our genealogy group to Thursday, November 12th from 5:30 pm - 7 pm! Family history researchers find that historical artifacts and documents become pieces of a complex and fascinating puzzle that shows you where you came from and who you are. Inevitably, experienced as well as inexperienced genealogists hit snags.

Windsor Palette & Brush Club Annual Fall Art Exhibition November 2 - December 3, 2020.
Please take a few minutes to walk the halls of the Windsor Town Hall (downstairs) and enjoy the artwork of the members of the Windsor Palette & Brush Club.
Town Hall hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. (Also during evening meetings).

Open for Artist Sunday on November 29 11:00 am -3:00 pm so you can view the show and shop at our Pop-Up Market.
