Given the focus on policing across our nation, WPD invites you to share your experiences with policing in Windsor. Please join Chief Melanson in a conversation to share your thoughts on policing and to provide input on how Windsor can better provide services to our community. All are welcome to attend.

Our Goal: To bring police and residents together to facilitate understanding, increase communication, and to engage our community as we discuss the department’s overall philosophy and approach to policing.

The First Town Downtown Farmers’ Market for 2020 runs from July 2 through October 15 on Thursdays from 3:30 - 6:30 pm at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

We are very excited to be moving forward with the Farmers' Market with new guidelines to keep everyone safe. Masks are required.

Many Rivers Community Acupuncture Now Open!
Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is excited to announce that they have reopened the clinic, after temporarily suspending services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nine years ago, Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. founded Many Rivers with the goal of making acupuncture affordable and accessible to the community. On March 16, she closed the doors and didn’t know when they would reopen.

“My staff and I were heartbroken. We knew that closing was imperative for public safety, but it was not easy to cancel our patients’ appointments and not be able to tell them when we would open again.”

Throughout the pandemic, the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank has continued to serve local residents and now wants to hear from other community-minded individuals interested in joining the volunteer-run Board of Directors.

For WPS School Supplies Drive, WEF Matching $5,000
During these unprecedented and challenging times, the Windsor Education Foundation is proud to announce it is supporting the Office of Family and Community Partnership for Windsor Public Schools as families, teachers and students navigate remote, in-person and distance learning. That partnership is asking the community to donate new school supplies or support through monetary donations so that students learning from home this year will have the resources they need to succeed.
