Give a hoot about these magnificent birds with an informative session on the lives of Connecticut's native owls. This program begins promptly at 6:30 PM with a 30 minute owl walk with owl calling session and concludes with a live owl presentation by Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation and Education

Recommended for ages 8+. Registration required. Space is limited.

East Street Shops, of East Granby, CT will host a free cocktail party catered by Chefs a l’ Orange during an Expanded and Enhanced Business After Hours to support Friend to Friend Food Pantry. This event includes not only the Bradley Regional Chamber of Commerce but also surrounding chambers (TVCA) and community members. Mobile Mammography will be here on Tuesday, November 12th from 9-2 in the Town Hall parking lot.
Women who are over 40 and who have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months and one day.

Join Beth Caruso, author of One of Windsor, as she presents on the era depicted in her new novel, The Salty Rose. She'll describe events such as the Hartford Witch Panic and the takeover of New Netherlands while comparing and contrasting the two colonies of New England and New Netherlands. She will also read from her new novel, The Salty Rose. Presentation will run from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Free.

Kimberly Hall offers an Alzheimer's Support group for family members who are a caregiver or have a loved one with a form of dementia. The support group consists of both families caring for someone at home or who have someone in a community. Please feel free to join us to learn more about the disease and how to cope with changes that occur as the disease progresses.

Churches Craft Fair & Bake Sale
Six churches in Windsor are working together to sponsor a craft fair and bake sale on November 9, 2019. The craft fair will be held at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue, Windsor, from 9AM to 2PM. The price of admission is $1 per person or a non-perishable food item. All admission and bake sale proceeds will benefit the Windsor Food Bank.

The six organizing Windsor Churches are Christ the King Lutheran, First Church in Windsor, Grace Episcopal, , Holy Zion Church of the Jubilee, Praise Power and Prayer Temple, and St. Damien of Molokai Parish. Wesley Memorial United

Jazz at the Windsor Art Center
The Windsor Art Center's presentation of The Morgan Giosa Blues Series, featuring guitarist Morgan Giosa and his Fake News Blues Band continues on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 4 to 6 PM. This upcoming concert will feature Gene Donaldson. Tickets are $20 ($15 for Windsor Art Center members). No advance reservations.

Thanks to Morgan's generosity, these concerts will benefit the Windsor Art Center and WIN-TV. Morgan's next concert at the Windsor Art Center is on December 8.

November Food Drive at Many Rivers
Many Rivers Community Acupuncture is excited to announce their 9th annual Food Drive to support the Bloomfield and Windsor Food Banks. Many Rivers will collect non-perishable food items and canned goods from November 11 to November 15.

Many Rivers will offer $15 acupuncture treatments for patients who bring a non-perishable food item during the week of the food drive. New patients who schedule their first treatment during this week will receive their initial consultation and treatment for only $15.
