On Saturday, November 2 , First Town Downtown and Windsor Federal Savings invite you to Windsor Center from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for some ghoulish treats and fun at Nightmare on Broad Street! Windsor businesses will be giving out treats to the youngsters and there will be Halloween activities! Broad Street will be closed to traffic. Free to the public. Wreaths Across America Fundraiser
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Join us for the American Legion's Wreaths Across America fundraiser at Geissler's in Windsor and sponsor a veterans’ wreath. Donations will be accepted throughout the day.

Opening Weekend for Browns Harvest's 5 Acre Corn Maze! This year's theme "Wild About the Weather" in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Oct 3rd Tornado. First weekend only $8/pp, ages 3 and up! Kids' Maze open, too! We'll be making our first batches of Apple Cider Donuts. Mums, pumpkins, jams, syrups, honey, Spookley the Square Pumpkin items, lawn spinners and fall decorations available. Come out to the Farm and enjoy the early Fall weather!

Windsor Seniors Art Show @ ArtSpace
In celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month, an exhibition of paintings created by patrons of the Windsor Senior Center in the "Painting with Christine" art class will be presented during the month of October, 2019, at the Windsor Public Library "ArtSpace."

On Wednesday, October 9, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, there will be an Opening Reception to see the magnificent works of art being created by our patrons and light refreshments will be served. Open to the public, so please join us! Free.

Please join us each month for coffee and conversation to promote information sharing, camaraderie, and education as to benefits and entitlements Veterans may be eligible for.

The Coffee Hour will be led by Wayne I. Rioux, Veterans Liaison for Hartford Health Care at Home. Wayne is an Army Vietnam Era Veteran and a retired Connecticut State Police Lieutenant. Wayne brings 6 years of experience in sharing information and assisting Veterans with benefits, entitlements, including financial assistance.
