Annual Windsor Freedom Trail Run
The Connecticut Freedom Trail recognizes the importance of sites throughout the State that are associated with the heritage and movement towards freedom of African Americans. Windsor Freedom Trail Run provides individuals an opportunity to pay tribute to those who fled from the South in search of freedom by way of the Underground Railroad. The run is approximately 3.9 miles. (A bus will follow the runners). It will begin at the Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and will end at the Riverside cemetery on East Street in Windsor, a site where a number of African American soldiers from the Co

Little Black Dress Fundraiser
There will be a Fashion Show Fundraiser put on by The Little Black Dress LLC and a Tea Cup Auction held at Grace Episcopal Church, 311 Broad St, in Windsor to raise much needed funds for The Red Door of Grace Food Pantry located at Grace Episcopal Church and The Five Corner Cupboard in East Windsor. The event will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Doors open at 11 am and the show starts at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the door or by calling (860) 688-1232.
