Summer Concerts on the Green
First Town Downtown invites you to the summer concert series sponsored by Windsor Businesses. Concerts are on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on the Windsor Town Green and are free to the public.

*Rain dates for all regular concerts are the following Tuesday

Aug 29th Personal Touch - sponsor Don Trinks / Bart's Drive In, Sharon Dillon Rispoli / Berkshire Hathaway and the Windsor High Alumni Blow out Bash (All Classes)

Come out for dinner at one of our local Windsor restaurants and a concert on the green!

The First Town Downtown Farmers’ Market will run from June 27 - October 17, 2019 on Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm (new time) at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

Please join us for an illuminating series of sessions introducing people to the ABCs of Genealogy at Windsor Historical Society. The sessions take place September 5, 12, and 18, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Genealogy research can be rewarding and frustrating at the same time. Knowing where to look (it’s NOT all on the internet!) can make your adventure more gratifying and less of a major task.

Do you want be as savvy as your kids with your smart phone or tablet? Bring Your Gadgets to the Geeks at the Windsor Public Library any Wednesday evening through November 6th. A Geek will patiently and clearly explain your device and answer your questions. You don’t need an appointment for this free service, drop in anytime between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM and remember to bring any usernames or passwords that will help us work together successfully.

Photojournalist Jessica Hill has been covering news in Connecticut for 20 years. Jessica grew up in Windsor. She is the daughter of a commercial and news photographer and had the privilege to spend her most formative years coloring with art directors in her coloring books, mixing film fixer in the darkroom for Dad, and breaking down countless studio setups. Jessica graduated cum laude with a BA in Anthropology and a minor in Visual Arts from the University of New Mexico.

Jessica began her career as a correspondent and photographer at the Windsor Journal. She is currently the Photo Editor at
