Summer Concerts on the Green
First Town Downtown invites you to the summer concert series sponsored by Windsor Businesses. Concerts are on Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on the Windsor Town Green and are free to the public.

*Rain dates for all regular concerts are the following Tuesday

Aug 29th Personal Touch - sponsor Don Trinks / Bart's Drive In, Sharon Dillon Rispoli / Berkshire Hathaway and the Windsor High Alumni Blow out Bash (All Classes)

Come out for dinner at one of our local Windsor restaurants and a concert on the green!

Summer Movie Series
The Windsor Public Library features Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Deforest Kelley in their Summer Movie Series. This series will run every Tuesday evening from June 25 to August 27. The film runs from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Free. 860-285-1918.

Veterans Coffee Hour
Please join us each month for coffee and conversation to promote information sharing, camaraderie, and education as to benefits and entitlements Veterans may be eligible for.

The Coffee Hour will be led by Wayne I. Rioux, Veterans Liaison for Hartford Health Care at Home. Wayne is an Army Vietnam Era Veteran and a retired Connecticut State Police Lieutenant. Wayne brings 6 years of experience in sharing information and assisting Veterans with benefits, entitlements, including financial assistance.

Windsor Rail Station Public Meeting
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting concerning upgrades to the Windsor Rail Station, which serves Amtrak and Hartford Line trains in the Town of Windsor. The meeting will be on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

The proposed project consists of the installation of a short high-level platform that will provide increased safety for passengers.

The Public Information Meeting is being convened to provide an opportunity for public participation and to foster open discussion of any views and comments the community may have concerning this proposed

Please join us at Windsor Historical Society on July 17, 2109 at 10 a.m. for a close look at some pieces from our costume collections with Curator Kristen Wands. Her focus will be on clothing and accessories worn by people who lived within a few doors of the museum. The pieces date from about 1795 to around 1900. You will become acquainted with individuals from the Nelson, Morgan, Ellsworth, Stiles, and Chaffee families. Examine their garments (wedding garb and shoes, a tea gown and other dresses, shirts, hair bracelets, a hat, and a cloak) and learn about construction and stylistic change ov

Join us from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Windsor Public Library for My Mother the Astronaut a wonderful story performed by the Traveling Lantern Theater group. A young girl’s mom is an astronaut and it is "Take your child to work day". She can’t wait to go to NASA and find out what it's like to be in space! This program is for ages 6-12 years old.
