Visit The Connecticut Valley Agricultural Museum this summer from June 1st to August 31st on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 – 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm for “Celebrate Local Artists” Art Exhibition. This show will unravel the social and physical cultural landscape changes over the last century. Opening Reception Friday, June 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Meet the local artists, enjoy delicious hors d’ oeuvres, wine, and live music by “Cody”. A love of nature and identifying creation outdoors has led Grace at an early age to pause, identify, and document her findings. Sowing zinnia seeds, marveling at passing swallowtails, and observing the rhythms of a growing plant are where she loves and learns best. Deep Sea Fishing Trip
Join us on Thursday, June 8, aboard The Sunbeam fishing boat in Waterford, CT for a day of deep sea fishing! The cost of $69.00 includes fishing for striped bass & bluefish, transportation, rod and reel rental, and cleaning of fish (please tip the mate 15% if possible). As part of Connecticut’s FREE Open House day, please join us for a journey back to 1810. On Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1-4 p.m., step into the Windsor Historical Society’s national award-winning Strong-Howard House, the 1810 home of Captain Nathaniel Howard where yes, you really CAN touch everything. You will be welcomed by the captain and his wife’s cousins Anna and Samuel Bartlett who are helping to prepare for an upcoming family meal. A fire will be crackling on the hearth as the smells of baking and a delicious planked salmon waft through the house.

Kimberly Hall offers an Alzheimer's Support group for family members who are a caregiver or have a loved one with a form of dementia. The support group consists of both families caring for someone at home or who have someone in a community. Please feel free to join us to learn more about the disease and how to cope with changes that occur as the disease progresses.
