A happy hour and networking event to benefit MS on Thursday, May 25th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and several raffles to include a pair of tickets to see Straight No Chaser & Post Modern Jukebox at the Oakdale, Diana Ross at Tanglewood, Match Box 20 & County Crows at the Xfinity Theater, and Fun Home at the Bushnell. We will also be holding a late registration for the MS ride to take place at 5&7 Waterside Crossing, Windsor on Sunday, June 4th.

Memorial for CT Witch Trial Victims
Non-denominational Memorial Service for Connecticut’s Witch Trial Victims – All Welcome

[Windsor, Connecticut] On the anniversary of America’s first witch hanging a commemorative ceremony has been planned to honor all eleven of Connecticut’s witch trial victims.
The event will acknowledge the 370th Anniversary of the hanging of Alice Young, the first person hanged for witchcraft in New England and to learn about the resolution that cleared the names of Alice Young and Lydia Gilbert both of Windsor on February 6, 2017.

St. Gabriel School is now enrolling students for Pre-K 3&4 - Grade 8 for the 2017 / 2018 academic school year. Applications are being processed and student screenings are getting scheduled. We are holding Open Door Tours on Tuesdays, 9am-1pm or 3pm - 6pm, with no appointment necessary (whenever school is in session). Do you have questions about the town budget that we are voting on at the June 6th referendum? Join us at a Community Budget Forum on Tuesday, May 30th at 6:30 PM at the Windsor Town Hall in the Council Chambers.

Receive the latest information on the Windsor Town Council's proposed budget from the Town Manager Peter Souza and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Craig Cooke. They will have a Q & A session at the end of the presentation.

WWRX Swim Team Tryouts
WWRX Swim Team will hold tryouts for swimmers ages 5-18 at 5:00 PM-6:00 PM at Windsor High School Pool on May23rd and May 25. Windsor Water Rats eXpress is a competitive swim program offering a wide range of opportunities for recreational swimmers as well as a more competitive aspect of swimming at the state level. The recreational summer season runs from the end of May to the end of July with weeknight practices and swim meets against neighboring towns. Practices and home meets are held at the Windsor High School pool. Try outs are free. Registration is due at tryouts. Forms and more info

Join us at the Main Library for our Evening Book Club. We will be reading In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. Copies of this book can be found behind the Lending Desk about a month beforehand. Puttin' on the Dog for Cats
The CT Cat Connection will be Puttin' on the Dog for Cats on , 2017 at Northwest Park from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm. Sign up your dog to compete in the best dog costume, best dog trick and /or the one that most looks like its owner for only $5.00. Winner in each category will win $50 in prize money. The contest starts at 12:30 so come early to enjoy vendor booths, food, fun and prizes!
