This eye-catching exhibit highlights the conditions in Windsor that fostered the Society’s founding one hundred years ago, and is a prequel to our next exhibit, which will open in September 2021 to commemorate the Society’s 100th anniversary.

Windsor Human Relations Commission is sponsoring a drive to collect canned goods and hand sanitizer for the "Weekend Wheels" backpack program for Windsor students.

This will be a contactless, drive-thru event at the L.P. Wilson Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue., on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

So many events going on this fall at the Windsor Art center! From a Mini show with Granby artists to Therapeutic Yoga on Sundays.
The Granby Artists Association will feature an Exhibition Season of Change in Collaboration with the Windsor Art Center. This Pop-up show will feature artworks of over 20 Granby artists working in various media and styles.

Open during regular exhibition hours:
Thursday 6 – 8 PM
Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM
Sunday 11 AM – 4 PM.

Additional Granby artists’ items will be available in the gift shop.

Kiwanis Canoe Race
The Kiwanis Canoe Race Food Drive will be held on Saturday, October 10. The Canoe Race is normally run in conjunction with the Windsor Chili Challenge which will not be held this year. This year's race is open to the general public as well as civic groups. The canoe race benefits the Windsor Food and Fuel banks. Participants are requested to donate food and/or cash. Donations can be dropped off on the Windsor Green from 9:00 to Noon. Look for the canoes! The First Town Downtown Farmers’ Market for 2020 runs from July 2 through October 15 on Thursdays from 3:30 - 6:30 pm at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center. This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.

We are very excited to be moving forward with the Farmers' Market with new guidelines to keep everyone safe. Masks are required.
