Windsor Federal Employees Support Interval House and Tutoring Program

Windsor Federal employees are participating in “The Amazing Race” training program to earn their Universal Banker Certificate through the American Bankers Association. To gain a first-hand understanding of our corporate giving policy and live our motto of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” the participants have been challenged to propose and develop a philanthropic project to benefit a non-profit in our community.

The first team has selected Interval House (www.intervalhousect.org) as their beneficiary. Interval House provides safe and confidential services to victims of domestic violence. ... more

Sheila Gasper is the manager of The Blue Dragonfly. It's a gift shop that is part of the Family Partnerships of CT. run by the store's owner, Susan Miller. Family Partnerships of CT. is an agency dedicated to assisting individuals with special needs by providing them with job sites within shops, restaurants, and helping with the Thrifty Reminder (rebranded as Courant Community in recent years). TVCA Business After Hours

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce TVCA Business After Hours will be on Wednesday, April 11 at the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut, 115 Pierson Lane in Windsor from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

Network with other business people from SIX regional Chambers of Commerce. The Tobacco Valley Chamber Alliance (TVCA) is a strategic alliance of the Bloomfield, Bradley Regional (East Granby and Windsor Locks), East Windsor, Granby, Suffield, and Windsor Chambers of Commerce.
