Chamber eNews for September 1: Uncertain Times
As we head toward the fall and winter, we consistently hear from businesses that uncertainty is their biggest challenge. So, too, from parents and educators as schools reopen across Connecticut for the first time since March. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, or where we'll be a month from now. This is causing considerable stress across the community.
All we can be certain of right now is that we need to be able to cope with uncertainty about the health of our businesses, our bodies, our children. The challenge is to make the most informed decisions we can for ourselves, our businesses, and our community, and to modify our decisions when the evidence dictates—as our leading researchers and public officials are already doing.
The Windsor Small Business Recovery Center is here to help deal with uncertainty. From building resiliency into your business plan, managing a remote workforce, and adapting your marketing strategy, to community relief efforts, conversations on child care, and maintaining the school-to-workforce pipeline, the WSBRC is dedicated to helping Windsor adapt and thrive in this uncertain time. Please call us at 860-688-5165 or reply to this email and we will help you, or connect you with someone who can.
The Windsor Small Business Recovery Center is made possible by a generous grant from Windsor Federal Savings and the partnership of the Town of Windsor.
