Business After Hours

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce’s November Business After Hours will be held on Wednesday, November 14 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, hosted by WIN-TV (Windsor's Public Access Television Station) located at 599 Matianuck Avenue in Windsor. Area businesses have the opportunity to network with other businesses in a social atmosphere and build relationships. There will be a raffle and refreshments. Free to Windsor Chamber members and TVCA Members. $5.00 for non-chamber members. RSVP online or by calling 860-688-5165

Tips for Small Business Saturday

To help you make the most of Nov 24, here are 3 tips for using social media:

1. Post photos. Pictures are shared more than any other type of post.
2. Use a distinct approach for each channel. What works for Facebook might not work for Instagram.
3. Tell the story of your business – post about inspiration, products, and employees.
4. When you post on social media, use #ShopSmall, #SmallBizSat, and #BackedByAmex to help unite the nationwide community of small business owners taking part in the big day.

Holiday Business Breakfast

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce Holiday Business Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, December 5th at the Hartford/Windsor Marriott at 28 Day Hill Road in Windsor from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Enjoy coffee, tea, a full buffet breakfast and lots of holiday spirit.
