Preventing Sexual Harassment - Online Training Sweeping changes to workplace harassment prevention training requirements are here. On June 18, 2019, Connecticut enacted a new state law expanding its sexual harassment training requirements. Businesses with three or more employees must provide two hours of sexual harassment training to all employees--not just supervisors. New employees hired after October 1, 2019 must be trained within six months of hire. The Windsor Chamber of Commerce provides the training you need to fulfill these requirements. Windsor Rail Station Public Meeting The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting concerning upgrades to the Windsor Rail Station, which serves Amtrak and Hartford Line trains in the Town of Windsor. The meeting will be on Thursday, July 25, 2019. The proposed project consists of the installation of a short high-level platform that will provide increased safety for passengers.
