New Teachers' Reception As business people, we believe in a strong educational system. Every summer the Windsor Chamber of Commerce organizes a welcome luncheon for all teachers new to the Windsor school system. Chamber members may attend the luncheon, meet and chat with the new teachers, introduce themselves and their business to the entire group, and include materials (promotional item, coupon, brochure, pen, etc) in each teachers' welcome packet. Preventing Sexual Harassment - Online Training Sweeping changes to workplace harassment prevention training requirements are here. On June 18, 2019, Connecticut enacted a new state law expanding its sexual harassment training requirements. Businesses with three or more employees must provide two hours of sexual harassment training to all employees--not just supervisors. New employees hired after October 1, 2019 must be trained within six months of hire. The Windsor Chamber of Commerce provides the training you need to fulfill these requirements.
