On November 17 and 18, Windsor-area businesses volunteered to assist High School Marketing students by conducting mock interviews. These interviews were a culmination of a job skills unit in which students learned about business attitude, resumes, cover letters, job applications and interviewing techniques. Business volunteers conducted a 10-minute mock interview with each student. The anxious students had a taste of what an actual interview feels like. For many, this was their first interview experience. Ryan Chambers, a Marketing One student, commented, "Having real businesspeople here made me more nervous for the interview, but I'm glad I did it." Other students commented that they feel they are now better prepared to take on a real interview and are very thankful for the mock experience in class.
