Easy to Use Tax Calculator Available Online and in Town Facilities
While the tax calculator can be accessed from any computer, the town has made six public locations available for residents and property owners to retrieve the information for their property. The tax calculator is available on public computers at: First and second floors of Windsor Town Hall at 275 Broad Street, Windsor Public Library, 323 Broad Street, Wilson Branch Library at 365 Windsor Avenue, Windsor Senior Center and the Recreation office located in the L.P. Wilson Community Center at 599 Matianuck Avenue. The town's online budget simulator, Build-a-Budget is also available online and has been updated to reflect the FY12 town manager's proposed budget. Residents can "weigh-in" with their thoughts on the proposed budget by adjusting revenues and expenditures on the simulator and provide feedback that will be shared with the Windsor Town Council. Additional information on the budget that will go before voters in May is also available at the town's website.
