Windsor Chamber of Commerce members have responded generously to the relief needs of the tsunami victims. The Chamber Board of Directors endorsed the WORTHY Project (Windsor Offering Relief Through High School Youth). This project was initiated by Windsor High School English teacher Coleen Thomas. Ms. Thomas and Chamber of Commerce President Sharran Selig wrote to Chamber members inviting their support through financial donations. The response has been gratifying. Chamber businesses have expressed the global scope of their humanitarian concern through donations totaling over $1,800. Many thanks to Windsor Federal Savings and Loan, Carmon Funeral Homes, Inc., U.E.C. Enterprises, and employees of ComTrust Federal Credit Union |
