Sen. Blumenthal Donates to Windsor Chamber Cares
Senator Richard Blumenthal graciously donated a Capitol tour and breakfast to the Windsor Chamber Cares 30th annual benefit auction. The auction benefitted the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Windsor Art Center, SEND Hometown to the Troops program, and the Windsor Education Foundation. Mayor Don Trinks and Windsor Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Jane Garibay, thank the Senator for his donation.

The two generous donations were won by Charlene Goulet and Joe Bowman. Beneficiaries of this annual benefit auction were Send Hometown Windsor to the Troops, the Windsor Education Foundation, Windsor Art Center at the Freight House, and the chamber itself. The crowd also generously supported the chamber's Student Internship program through "Fund-a-Need" donations.

Next year's auction is set for April 12, 2015.
