Did you know that over 500 acres of Windsor is water? The Source to Sea Cleanup is an annual trash cleanup of the Connecticut River and its tributaries, including the Farmington and all Windsor's streams and brooks.
This year, instead of one big event, the Cleanup will take place over the entire month of September. Your family or business (in groups of five people or fewer) can get involved by picking any site in Windsor, signing up at https://www.ctriver.org/our-work/source-to-sea-cleanup/, and collecting trash together before the end of the month. Send us your photos so we can show off your participation! Or if you don't have a group of your own, you can join the Chamber's by sending a message to info@windsorcc.org.
Instructions and supplies will be provided. Remember, stay out of the Connecticut River unless you're in a boat, and go no more than a foot deep along the Farmington!
