It's almost Valentine's Day, a day when you, hopefully, remember to say "I love you" and indulge your sweetheart with roses, jewelry and dinner out! You can celebrate all weekend without breaking the bank with all the specials going on Friday through Monday (Feb. 11 - 14) at Windsor shops and restaurants.

Friday through Monday:
Does you're sweetie like jewelry? Ashley's Distinctive Jewelry and Gifts is having a 'buy four get one free' sale on Chamila beads or choose a free bracelet with $100 purchase.
Friday:
Enjoy an early Valentine's dinner on Friday night at Dom's Broad Street Eatery for $19.95 per person. Choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert from 5pm - 8pm.
If you're love's 2nd love is beer, the Shad Fest Bureau Hooker Brewery Event might be just the thing at 6pm at the Hooker Brewery in Bloomfield (benefiting the Shad Fest Bureau, the folks who put on the Shad Derby).
Saturday through Monday:
Surprise her with a candlelight Valentine's Dinner at Vito's by the Water. Special menu items available.
Sunday:
Maybe poetry is your bag. Poets Polly Brody and Brad Davis will be joined by flutist Minta White at the Windsor Art Center at 2 pm followed by tea, conversation and book signing. This is free and could result in big points for you.
Monday:
How about a nice Valentine's lunch at the Beanery at Bart's? Try the chocolate coffee and get a free dessert with any lunch special on Valentine's day. Give her a nice break from the workday!
Take your Sweetheart to the Whistle Stop for Valentine's Day Dinner for $24.99 per person includes choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. 5 pm - 10 pm. The new location gives you much more privacy!
Is your honey into organic foods and healthy living? Take him or her to the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Green Committee's "Eat To Live" organic dinner club at the Beanery at Bart's at 6pm for an organic Italian dinner and discussion about massage for only $10 per person.
And if you're ready to propose, bring your beloved to Windsor Town Hall to get your marriage license, free on Valentine's Day!
After Monday, you're on your own.
