National Influenza Vaccination Week
National Influenza Vaccination Week is December 6 – 12 and the Windsor Health Department would like to encourage everyone age 6 months or older to get their flu shot. The influenza season runs from October to May and it’s not too late to get your Flu Shot!
The Town of Windsor Health Department has seasonal flu vaccine available for adults age 18 and over and we are also available to bring flu shots to local businesses. We will be happy to set up a convenient time for the Public Health Nurse to come to your work site and give flu shots to your employees.
The cost is covered by Medicare Part B, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, ConnectiCare, Aetna and Cigna; otherwise the cost is $30. Participants must provide their insurance cards and picture ID. For more information or to set up appointments please call (860) 285-1824 or (860) 285-1823
