"Burgers & Brews" CT Guide
Connecticut's Central Regional Tourism District (CenterofCT.com) has updated its popular pocket guide to many of the best places for burgers and microbrews in its 65 towns and cities. The "Burgers & Brews" guide is a free brochure that is available in print and on-line at www.CenterofCT.com. With information about more than 70 great eateries and breweries, it is a handy resource for visiting tourists and local residents alike.

"We're thrilled to be featured once again in the CT Burgers & Brews Guide," says Don Trinks, owner of Bart's Drive In Restaurant.

"America's first burger sandwich was cooked up right here at New Haven's Louis Lunch more than a century ago and the restaurant is still going strong," explains Anne Lee, Executive Director of the Central Regional Tourism District which covers 65 Connecticut towns and cities including the Greater Hartford, Greater New Haven, and Connecticut River Valley regions. "Today, a wide variety of restaurants in our region serve up fantastic burgers, from grilled to steamed to bison burgers to 'build-your-owns'. Add to that, some of the finest microbreweries in all of New England and we have our very own regional burger and brew trail."

The Central Regional Tourism District (CenterofCT.com) covers 65 towns and cities located along the Connecticut River, which winds its way from the Long Island Sound over hills and rolling valleys, through the capital city of Hartford, and up to the Massachusetts border. Its goal is to increase the number of visits to River Valley/Connecticut and Greater New Haven/Connecticut regions, thereby resulting in revenue growth. The Tourism District covers: Andover; Avon; Berlin; Bethany; Bloomfield; Bolton; Branford; Canton; Cheshire; Chester; Clinton; Cromwell; Deep River; Durham; East Granby; East Haddam; East Hampton; East Hartford; East Haven; East Windsor; Ellington; Enfield; Essex; Farmington; Glastonbury; Granby; Guilford; Haddam; Hamden; Hartford; Hebron; Killingworth; Madison; Manchester; Marlborough; Meriden; Middlefield; Middletown; Milford; New Britain; New Haven; Newington; North Branford; North Haven; Old Saybrook; Orange; Plainville; Portland; Rocky Hill; Simsbury; Somers; South Windsor; Southington; Stafford; Suffield; Tolland; Vernon; Wallingford; West Hartford; West Haven; Westbrook; Wethersfield; Windsor; Windsor Locks; and Woodbridge.
