Tourism Committee Meeting

Present: Paula Pierce, Ashley Williams, Christine Ermenc, Christina Vida and Phyllis Stargardter

Meeting Notes:

1. Walking Tour

• GPS with maps to be included on app, analytic s tracking and usage to be included in app.

• Map will have pointers, Two Historic Points so far.

Two different icon pointers one for Historic Sight (50 years or older) vs. one for Points of Interest.

• Rack cards with map; where to put? Size? Bleed? Where to print?

• QR Codes; where to put and who will upkeep?

• Possible logo, 3 Partners logos on sight somewhere, Web Designers logo on sight somewhere.

• Ashley made contact with Loomis Chaffee Rep but school was on break so could not make it to meeting.

• Peter Sousa could not make it to meeting.

To Do List

• WCC Paula will add a “learn more” link to app.

• WHS: Christine will update list of places to visit and update M.O.U.

• WHS –Christina will produce “Historical Points” locations for GPS.

• FTDT Ashley will re-invite Loomis Representative to meeting to discuss involvement.

Next meeting will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at WCC office.
