Tourism Committee Meeting

September 9, 2015

 

Present:  Jane Garibay, Paula Pierce, Christine Ermenc, Kim Burke, Robert Bell Ashley Williams, Laine Pelletier, and Phyllis Stargardter

Meeting Notes:

1.     Tour Windsor

·      QR Codes for Phase I are done.

·      Static Cling Decal Design (Bumper Stickers?)

·      Next phase ;( Phase II) add content for Wilson – done by April.

·      Add Restaurants & Retail; designate WCC members like Shop & Dines. Connect to their website or WCC site if they don’t have a website.

·       Sign for green; A-Frame is done

·      Phase III Poquonock

·      Need volunteer to research, write blurbs and take photos for Wilson.

2.     Passport

·      Need to pick up remaining stamps & plexi’s from participants.

 

3      Chili Fest

·      Chili booth-Tacky Tourist

·      Rack Cards

·      Dress as tourist with hat & camera etc

·      Possible cook – Dom’s Broad Street Eatery

To Do List

·      Jane to invite Paul Nasuta to next meeting

·      Christine: W. Historical Society: to be at Farmers Market on September 17.

Will bring wood panel to WCC after Farmers Market for use at Chili Fest.

·      WCC flyers to schools

·      Paula to contact Sinsigalli Signs about decals.

 

Next meeting will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9:30 am at WCC office.
